QUININE SULFATE

  • Monitor patients closely during the early stages for adverse effects as well as for benefit. After an initial trial of 4 weeks, stop treatment if there is no benefit. Interrupt treatment at intervals of approximately 3 months to assess the need for further quinine treatment.
