• Reserved for specific clinical conditions only i.e. patient who is bed bound and does not wear leg bag.

• For infection control reasons drainable night bags are not recommended for connection to leg bag systems.

• Leg bag sleeves can be used to help secure a leg urine drainage bag to the patient’s leg.

• The patient’s leg should be measured to ensure the correct fit.
• These products are washable and 1 pack should last 4 to 6 months.
• No more than 2 to 3 packs should be issued per year.
• Do not add to repeat prescription.
