Send MSU for culture.

Short-term use of nitrofurantoin in pregnancy is unlikely to cause problems to the foetus. 

Trimethoprim use in pregnancy is now unlicensed.

Avoid trimethoprim if low folate status or taking folate antagonist (eg antiepileptic or proguanil).

100mg m/r 2 x daily

or 

50mg 4 x daily
