Important: Formulation and dosage details
Formulation:
Capsules (Ofev®) 100mg, 150mg (hospital use only)
Dosage:
Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis: 150mg twice daily 12 hours apart.
The 100mg twice daily dose is only recommended to be used in patients who do not tolerate the 150mg twice daily dose.
Dose reduction or interruption to manage adverse events is detailed in the SPC.
The capsules should be taken with food, swallowed whole with water, and should not be chewed or crushed.
