  • Generic preparations should be used.
  • Rarely, patients switched from branded products may be sensitive to excipients in the generic forms, in which case discuss alternative generic options with the pharmacist.
  • If unsuccessful, a branded version may be re-prescribed.
  • Bimatoprost preparations may be used in latanoprost non-responders.
  • Combination eye drops may be useful if compliance is likely to be a problem.

LATANOPROST - (First line)
