Adapalene:

Added - For mild to moderate comedonal acne.

Adapalene with benzoyl peroxide:

Added - Gel (Epiduo®) (adapalene 0·3%, benzoyl peroxide 2·5%) for mild to moderate acne.

Avoid in pregnancy and breast-feeding; adequate contraception is essential for women of childbearing age.
Refer to guidelines and notes on Management of acne and National Patient Pathways.

Formulation:

Cream (Differin^®) 0·1%

Dosage:

For mild to moderate comedonal acne.

Apply thinly at night after washing.

ADAPALENE WITH BENZOYL PEROXIDE

Formulation:

Gel (Epiduo®) (adapalene 0·1%, benzoyl peroxide 2·5%), (adapalene 0·3%, benzoyl peroxide 2·5%)

Dosage:

For mild to moderate acne.

Apply thinly once daily in the evening.
