CALCITRIOL

Formulation and dosage details

Formulation:

Ointment (Silkis®) 3 micrograms/gram

Dosage:

Apply twice daily, up to 35% of body surface area to be treated daily. Maximum dose, 30 grams daily.

CALCIPOTRIOL

Formulation:

Ointment 50 micrograms/gram

Dosage:

Apply twice daily. Maximum dose, 100 grams weekly.

TACALCITOL

Formulation:

Ointment (Curatoderm®) 4 micrograms/gram

Dosage:

Apply daily, preferably at bedtime. Maximum dose, 10 grams daily.

CALCIPOTRIOL WITH BETAMETHASONE

Cutaneous foam (Enstilar®) (specialist use only)

Dosage:

The foam spray may be useful for patients who find alternative preparations difficult to apply.
