Treatment should be applied to all parts of the body including scalp, neck, face and ears paying special attention to all skin folds and creases.  Treat all members of the affected household and close contacts, even in the absence of symptoms, on a single occasion at the same time as the infested patients.  Where there is a high risk of infestation, a full course of treatment (ie two applications) should be given.
