Gastroenterology

Welcome to the Gastroenterology RefHelp page. This incorporates gastroenterology, hepatology and endoscopy services across NHS Borders.

Our team is multi-disciplinary and includes gastroenterologists, specialist nurses, endoscopy nurse practitioners, dieticians and administrative support to ensure the best care of patients.

The gastroenterology team have an advice email which is monitored by the consultants.

This email should be used for advice purposes only and should not be used to refer or admit patients. Referrals should be made via the most appropriate SCI Gateway referral and emergency admissions should be made by contacting the medical registrar on call.
