Accessibility checks

Content has been checked for accessibility in line with the relevant RDS standard operating procedure.

 

Content management and governance

Clinical oversight and responsibility sits with the infectious diseases consultant group who meet each week. 

Additional content will be overseen by the Quality Improvement Team of RIDU which meets quarterly.

The infectious diseases department sits with the acute directorate of NHS Lothian. There are currently two governance structures in place - the Policy Oversight Group and the Drugs and Therapeutics Committee.

 

Content review

Each aspect of the toolkit is authored by a clinician and has been reviewed and signed off by the infectious diseases consultant group.

The guidelines group within the RIDU will monitor the generic email address and report to the RIDU Quality Improvement Team who will in turn oversee updates or any additional sections that are to be added to the toolkits.
