Purpose and audience

The MSK Index is a collection of resources to support clinical practice.  It is designed to be used by healthcare professionals working within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde to support patient care.

Maintenance and updating

The MSK Index is reviewed annually.  Content will be updated as and when required by changes in the evidence, which is updated on a regular basis as new papers are available.  This process is managed jointly by MSK clinical team and Knowledge Services within NHSGGC.

Any significant changes to content will subject to the approval of the MSK physiotherapy extended management team NHSGGC.

Governance

Content development and moderation is carried out by a working group within NHSGGC led by the MSK Physiotherapy Team Lead.

Information contained in this website is for clinicians only to aid clinical decision making. If you are not a registered healthcare professional, use of this website is at your own risk.

Accessibility

The app is compliant with Android and Apple accessibility standards for native mobile apps. The website is compliant with WC3A 2.0 Standards.

Browser and operating system compatibility

The app is supported by Android 4.4 or later and iOS 8.0 or later devices. The website is optimised for use on both desktop and mobile devices in the following browsers - IE9+, Chrome, Edge, Safari.
