EEG: The electroencephalogram (EEG) is a medical test used to measure the electrical activity of the brain. A number of electrodes are applied to your scalp. EEG can help diagnose a number of conditions including epilepsy, sleep disorders and brain tumours.

MRI: MRI is a type of diagnostic test that can create detailed images of nearly every structure and organ inside the body. MRI uses magnets and radio waves to produce images on a computer.

Neurologist: a medical specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the nervous system.

Psychogenic: having a psychological origin or cause rather than a physical one.

Psychiatrist: a medical practitioner specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness

Psychologist: Non medical expert or specialist in the study of the human mind and its functions, especially those affecting behaviour. 

Spectrum: Used to classify something in terms of its position on a scale between two extreme points.
