Information for Referrers

We work with families, children and young people presenting with a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties. The service offers consultation, training, joint working, individual and family work.

We also offer specialist services including Neurodevelopmental Intervention*, Medical Paediatric Psychology, Paediatric Neuropsychology and Care Experienced.

How to refer

We have a single point of access with our colleagues in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) whereby all children and young people are offered an initial triage call which may result in a first assessment. They then may be offered Psychological intervention as a result of this assessment either in CAMHS or within Psychology. We will inform referrers and families of assessment outcomes.

 

Make a referral via Sci-gateway to either CAMHS or via the Child Psychology

Psychology pathway:

 

SCI Gateway...Mountainhall...Clinical Psychology...Psychology and choose Child Psychology

Additional information

*This is an intervention service only for children and young people with a Neurodevelopmental condition.
