About the Scottish Burn Centre

• The Scottish National Burn Centre is part of the Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit. We are based in Glasgow Royal Infirmary (adult service) and the Royal Hospital for Children (paediatric service). We treat burns from across Scotland that meet certain criteria. More information on the referrals process and the kinds of injuries we treat can be found in the if you are referring a patient to the Scottish Burn Centre section of the toolkit.

• Urgent burn referrals should be made through the Glasgow Plastic Surgery on-call service.
