Coming to hospital for an investigation
If you have been sent an appointment for coming to hospital for an investigation you might want to know more about what will happen.
An investigation means that your care team need to collect more information about how your body is working to help them plan on how to help you. This can be an x-ray, MRI or other imaging procedure, or a blood test.
If you have been asked to come to hospital for a blood test you will be sent an outpatient appointment or an appointment for Ward 1C.
