GGC Neonatal
The neonatal unit is accessed via a secure buzzer entry system. There is one main entry point on level 1 of the maternity building.
Please ensure that the door closes fully behind you and do not let anyone else enter at the same time.
Visiting
Warning
The neonatal unit is open to parents and siblings of babies at all times, 24/7.
Your extended adult family (no children other than the baby's siblings, sorry) can visit at any time of day as long as a parent is also present and only two people, including the parent, are at the cot side at any one time.
If anyone has a high temperature, cold symptoms, diarrhoea or vomiting, or are generally feeling unwell they should not come to the neonatal unit.
