Visiting
Warning
We understand that visiting restrictions that have been put in place for COVID-19 have been hard and have impacted on families. We have been working closely with our infection control team in order to keep babies, families and staff safe during the pandemic, and we are continually monitoring the situation.
Changes to visiting as of the 1st June 2022 are as follows:
- You may have ONE visitor per day but one parent must also be present
- Siblings may also visit. A suitable time should be agreed with the nurse looking after your baby as we still need to limit the number of visitors in each room
- 2 Adults + 1 Sibling should be the maximum at each cot side
- Any sibling over the age of 5 must wear a face covering
- We kindly ask that you and any visitors/siblings keep to the same side of your baby's cot/incubator, away from their neighbour
- Just a reminder that our tea room facilities are for parents only and we have limited waiting areas, we advise that visits with siblings are kept short for these reasons
Please do not visit if you have symptoms of any infection e.g. high temperature, cough, vomiting diarrhoea, runny nose. If in doubt please contact the unit for advice.
