Breech presentation management (1196)

This guideline covers the identification and management of the fetus presenting by the breech to improve care and ensure consistent and accurate identification and management.
It is intended to be used by Obstetric and Midwifery staff to promote safe practice, reduce adverse outcomes in planned and unplanned vaginal breech births, external cephalic version, and caesarean birth. This guideline is based on evidence which demonstrates improved outcomes and is intended to inform best practice.
