Peritonitis/Biliary Tract/Intra-abdominal
Total IV/PO 7 days
IV Amoxicillin 1g three times daily
+
IV Gentamicin (see guideline for dosing)
+
PO Metronidazole 400mg three times daily (only use IV if oral route not available. IV Dose is 500mg three times daily)
Oral step down PO Co-trimoxazole 960mg twice daily + PO Metronidazole 400mg three times daily
IV Vancomycin (see guideline for dosing)
